What is Self Storage?
This Waxahachie self storage facility offers a way for you to safely store your business or personal property. You will have control over what is stored in your personal unit. You own the lock and key, so you will have control of your storage locker. As the renter of this unit, your rights are protected through a rental agreement furnished by the Texas Self Storage Association.
Who uses Waxahachie Self Storage?

How can I rent from Joey's Security Storage?
Simply give us a call! We will get to know your storage needs, and provide you with our current Waxahachie mini storage unit availability and pricing. Should you decide to rent from us, we will simply ask you to review our rental agreement, sign the paperwork, pay your first month’s rent, and you will have your own personal Waxahachie self storage unit available immediately.
What size units are available?
Our smallest units are great for storing items such as boxes and clothing, while our largest can accommodate the furnishings of an entire house, or an automobile. For exact measurements, please see the link for unit sizes.
How much will it cost?
The monthly rental rates for our storage units depend on the type of unit that you need. A Waxahachie climate controlled unit will cost more than a non-climate controlled unit. We will get you the best price for a Waxahachie mini storage unit that will suit your needs. We are also proud to say that we are one of the few self storage facilities that will rebate unused rent back to you should you unexpectedly have to shorten your stay with us!
Will my items be insured?
You will find that most self storage facilities do not automatically insure the items in your storage unit. We suggest that you check your homeowners or renters insurance to see if it covers self storage. If you choose, you may purchase insurance through us provided by a company that specializes in insuring self storage units. Information is available upon request at our office.
Are the units heated/cooled?
If you choose, you can rent a Waxahachie climate controlled storage facility. If you are storing things that can be affected by climate, such as: electronic equipment, fine linens and clothing, mattresses, artwork, business files/records, pharmaceutical products, crystal/glassware, leather furniture, or music equipment, you may want to consider renting a Waxahachie climate controlled unit.
Can I purchase moving supplies from your facility?
Sure! We offer a variety of boxes, tape, wrapping paper, bubble wrap- just about anything you might need to safely move your property.
How long can I stay?
You may rent as long as you wish. We rent our units on a month-to-month basis, and the minimum rental period is one month. All we ask is that you notify us at least 10 days prior to the end of your final month.
Do I need to provide my own lock?
You may provide your own padlock, or you may purchase a lock at our facility. Although padlocks offer an adequate level of security, we suggest the use of cylinder locks; these are the best deterrent against theft, as they are extremely hard to remove without a key. You may purchase a cylinder lock from us at a low cost.
When can I access my storage unit?
You may access your Waxahachie mini storage unit EVERY day of the week, 24 hours a day.
How will I access my Waxahachie mini storage unit?
Our heated/cooled units are interior, and the non-climate controlled units are available with drive-up access. They can be reached by driving your vehicle right up to the unit door or the building door. For interior units, we have dollies and moving carts available for your use.
When do I pay rent?
We require that your rent be paid prior to the beginning of the storage period. If payment is not received by the 5th day after your due date, the payment is considered late and a late fee will be applied. You have the ability to select your payment periods- monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly. We accept cash, check, credit card or money order. For your convenience, we even offer an automatic payment system that can debit your credit card, debit card, checking or savings account.
What if I need to change the size of my storage unit?
Not a problem! We will do everything we can to find you an available Waxahachie mini storage unit at the size you need.
Is there anything that I will NOT be able to store?
There are a few exceptions to what can be stored in your personal mini storage unit. You cannot store food, perishable items, toxic material, tires, explosives, hazardous wastes, flammables, etc. Our lease will clarify these restrictions. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
